Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko sent greetings to President of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire Alassane Dramane Ouattara as the country celebrates the national holiday - Independence Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
The head of state stressed that he pays great attention to strengthening friendship and cooperation between the two countries and reaffirmed his commitment to fruitful joint work in political, trade, economic, humanitarian and other fields.
"Belarus has a significant potential in the manufacturing sector, agriculture, healthcare, construction, and education," the message says. "We are interested in supplying Côte d'Ivoire with high-quality goods that are already well known in the world: food, fertilizers, various types of engineering goods, medicines."
The president proposed to make every effort to find promising joint projects that will contribute to the long-term social and economic development of Côte d'Ivoire and maintain sustainability in the West African region.
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished good health, happiness and success to Alassane Dramane Ouattara, and prosperity and well-being to the people of Côte d'Ivoire.
